1:1/Private Sound Healing

1:1 Bespoke Sound Therapy with Jessica

Within an individual/1:1 Sound Therapy session, Jessica begins with an enquiry into the client’s current state (emotional, physical, mental, spiritual) and then creates a tailored journey using different instruments to facilitate a release of any blockages and entry into an Altered State of Consciousness (similar to very deep relaxation or meditation) where healing and transformation can happen.

Clients are ‘brought back’ to the present with percussion instruments and use of the voice. We will finish with a reflective debrief to discuss their experience.

It is recommended to have Sound Therapy over a number of sessions, as you would with any therapy, to receive the benefits.

Research carried out by the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) has shown that this Sound Therapy methodology is 16% more relaxing than conventional relaxation music (1), 6% more relaxing than other treatments such as massage (1) and, on average, 64% more relaxing than other general relaxation methods (2).Sound Therapy uses sound, music and specialist instruments played in therapeutic ways, to improve health and wellbeing.

Sound Therapy works by altering brain waves, changing agitated wave patterns to exceptionally calm wave forms. As our brain waves slow down, we shift from an active state to a more relaxed, dreamlike state. In this state, our breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure decrease. This helps our immune system function more efficiently, reduces stress hormones, and triggers the release of feel-good chemicals in the brain.

Sound Therapy is thought to help with:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Stress

  • Fatigue

  • Chronic pain

  • Cognition and memory

  • Overall mental and spiritual well-being

Location: Sessions take place at a beautiful studio in Tufnell Park, London.

Investment: £95 for 1 hour 15 minute session.

These sessions are on-going and available on request (between 05.01.2025 and 01.10.2025) - click here to book.
